Ride for Diane, a benefit motorcyle ride for families battling cancer

The Fourth Annual "Ride for Diane", July 30, 2006

Ryan Long The Fourth Annual "Ride for Diane" was held on Sunday, July 30, 2006 to benefit two young children, Ryan Long and Kara Konyves. Proceeds from the event helped with Ryan and Kara's medical expenses.

Ryan Long is a 10 year old, fourth grade student at Forest City School, who is battling a brain stem tumor.

Kara Konyves is a 13 year old, seventh grade student at Valley View Elementary School, who is battling leukemia.

The "Ride for Diane" was a hugh success and the biggest ride so far - with 800 bikes!

Over 1300 people, both riders and non-riders, attended the party at Takach's Greenfield Acres after the ride. There was great food, cold beverages, fun contests & prizes, Kara Konyves plus a live broadcast by "Sausage" from 97.9X and live entertainment by "Vibe Line".
